Natural Cold Remedies

Ah, Spring. Flowers are blooming, the sun is shining and runny noses/coughs are in the air.

Lately, we can’t seem to escape the cold that has been going around.  We had it awhile back and I remember thinking I would do everything in my power to avoid getting sick again.  Trust me, I try really hard! We apply hand sanitizer everywhere we go and I never let my little guy sit in a shopping cart without a cover. Guys…carts (or buggies if you live in the south) are NASTY.

No one likes seeing their child sick! (I do enjoy those extra snuggles though).

So how can you kick a cold FAST?

We do it naturally.  There are lots of medications that you can pump into your body to get you feeling better ASAP, but most of the time these supress your sypmtoms and can have side affects.  That’s why we have been going the Homeopathic route!

“Homeopathic medicines – known as “remedies” – are made from natural sources (e.g., plants, minerals), and are environmentally friendly and cruelty free. A homeopath will choose a remedy that supports the symptoms—rather than opposing them or suppressing them as in conventional medicine. ” – Homeopathy Center

Homeopathic remedies are really easy to find and generally inexpensive! So, let’s jump to the products, because if you’re sick and tired like me you just want to know what to run out and buy!
