10 Baby Registry Items You’ll Actually Want

Let’s talk about baby registries!

I just got back from a baby shower celebrating an already loved little boy!

I got to thinking…what’s the best part of baby showers? Is it the food, the games, the people, the gifts?…personally, I think it’s the gifts!

Babies requires a lot of stuff! It’s both exciting and terrifying. If your like me (a little OCD), I CRINGE at the thought of toys and baby items scattered throughout my immaculate home. No matter how much we want to avoid the inevitable mess, we have to start stockpiling baby items before baby arrives.

I got to talking with the future mama bear about her favorite gifts she received and we both agreed that while diapers are essential, they don’t exactly give you a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Which brings me to my point…

There are baby items that you WANT and items that you NEED!

Most of us can agree that baby registries often look identical. Of course we have to have the required items: bottles, swaddles, diapers, wipes, and more. But where’s the fun stuff?

Creating a baby registry is half of the fun of pregnancy! Whether you create it online or in the store, it’s exciting imaging your new baby with these items. Also, it’s your time to pick out your style and determine what is important for your new babe!

Here are my top 10 Registries Items that you will actually want!

1. Binxby Baby

I received the Binxby as a gift. I didn’t register for it and doubted I would use it often. But oh boy, was I wrong! A carseat in a shopping cart takes up all the space you have for your items! The Binxby Baby is a holder for a carseat or a sling for baby to sit in. Now you can have your shopping cart space and a safe place for baby to enjoy the ride.

2. Bandana Bibs

Goodbye traditional bibs, and hello bandanas!! Baby bandanas are a trendy item right now and Copper Pearl is your place to get them. They are so soft and perfect for the drooling/teething stage of infancy!

3. Kiinde Breastmilk Storage System

Bottle feeding has never been so easy. The Kiinde system allows breastfeeding mom’s to pump directly into the bag. When you’re ready to feed, insert the bag into the bottle holder and attach the nipple. Then, throw the bag away (that’s right….no washing!)!

4. 5 in 1 cover

The 5 in 1 cover can be used as a car seat cover, a nursing cover, a shopping cart cover, a high chair cover, and an infinity scarf.

You can also find them on Copper Pearl, Milkmaid Goods, and Milk Snob.

5. Personalized Items

There’s a different level of excitement when you receive a blanket vs. A blanket with your babies name on it. Personalized gifts are more meaningful. After all, you worked hard to agree on that name!!

6. mamaRoo

Perfect for the picky baby who likes change! Bluetooth available.

7. DocATot

Whether you decide to co-sleep or put baby in the crib, the doc-a-tot is perfect for any sleeping situation. The doc-a-tot can be used when bed sharing, in a crib to slowly transition, or for travel (you can leave the pack n play behind!)

8. Baby Books

How many of you have dug out old cards and looked at them? Probably none!

9. Lillebaby Carrier

I did my research on carriers and the Lillebaby proves to be the most versatile and eye appealing! These carriers come in a variety of materials, patterns, and colors. I have the Lillebaby Organic in Seaglass Green! 😍

10. WubbaNubs

Hands down the best pacifiers! These pacis have cute stuffed animals attached to them, that make it easy for baby to grab a hold of it. With so many choices from penguin to puppies and owls…your hardest decision will be which one to get!
